The amazing VILA MARVELA - 4 Bedroom Family Pool Villa is located in Maslinica on the Šolta Island in Croatia, which is only 9 nautical miles away from the largest Dalmatian city – Split. This stunning villa is one of the standout luxury properties on the island of Šolta. Nestling on the top of a small hill, only 200 metres from the sea, it’s overlooking the Adriatic sea and seven uninhabited islands. The Villa Marvela is ensuring maximum privacy, both terasses are not visible from public aread.

Start the day in the best way, enjoying the extraordinary views with your coffee in hand next to the pool. You can enjoy the most spectacular views from the pool terrace or upper jacuzzi terrace! For a great end of the day, treat yourself with a glass of wine in the hot tub. The villa is oriented directly to the West. Thus sunsets here are unforgettable.

An unforgettable stay in a luxury 4 Bedroom villa

Villa Marvela is a luxurious property situated on a plot of 800 m2 with a total living space area of 268 square meters and is decorated with all modern appliances. The completely furnished villa has 4 air-conditioned bedrooms with private bathrooms, a spacious living room, 2 extra separate toilet (living room and fitness), a kitchen, a dining room, a sauna, a fitness room with a running belt, orbit and table tenis, an outdoor roofed summer dining area with a kitchen and a grill, an open terrace of 70 m2 on the upper floor with a whirlpool tub for memorable summer gatherings al fresco. It also features a heated swimming pool (11 x 3.5 meters) and spacious sunbathing areas overlooking the sea. The villa is surrounded by a rosemary and lavender garden with fruit and olive trees. You can use a private parking place.

Villa Marvela is located just an hour by boat from Split airport

If you arrive by plane, we suggest you to take a boat taxi from the airport Split (SPU) that is located in a walking distance to the sea to the village of Maslinica where there is Villa Marvela. The whole journey will také slightly above 1 hours. There is a selection of several boat taxis and above them also a luxury one, Sunseeker Superhawk 50 seen in James Bond´s movie Quantum of Solace. Anyway, you have also the option of a car taxi from the airport to the port of Split (45 mins), then a ferry (60 mins) to the Island of Šolta and then another taxi (10 mins). You can also rent a car (Hertz, Avis) at the airport, but we do not suggest this option because the island of Šolta is relatively small (20km from one end to the other). You will travel this journey max. once and a taxi is a better option. Day excursions (by car or boat) are available on request.

The villa is at walking distance from the Maslinica village and award-winning harbor of Martinis Marchi. The nearest luxury restaurant Šampjer is just opposite the road of Villa Marvela. In the centre of the village you can find 3 more local restaurants and a famous Martinis Marchi 5* hotel. The very popular fish restaurants Šešula and Šišmis can be found in Šesula bay some 20 minutes of walk behind the village in the south direction. In the village itself there is coffee & beer bar and a village food & fruit shop.

A pebble beach with clear water is a short walking distance

Enjoy a romantic holiday on a beautiful beach and swim in the turquoise sea. A beautiful pebble beach Maslinica Village Beach with clear water is located nearby from Villa Marvela, you will walk to the beach in about 7 minutes down from the small hill. There are usually not many people on the beach. Refreshments can be enjoyed at the beach bar. Sipova Beach is the only sandy beach on the island of Solta, from Villa Marvela you can reach the beach in a 15 minutes walk. You will find an idyllic combination of greenery in the vicinity of the beach, fine sand and rocks on the edge of the beach and the clean sea. If you happy you can be here alone, the maximum of tourists does not exceed 20.

You will have complete privacy in the villa, you can get advice over the phone 

Villa Marvela is provided for the rent as the whole object with the service of a major house on the phone (a local couple from the village speaking English). Otherwise if you prefer your privacy you can handle almost all needs yourself, we provide information you may need. The pool is managed by an automatic measuring system. If there is something dirty on the bottom of the pool or some leaves on the surface, you can put the robotic cleaner in the water yourself and let it work independently for 60-120 minutes. For washing there is a washing machine with capsules. Nevertheless, if you wish extra cleaning and washing, there are local people that can provide the service at the tariff +/- 12 EUR/hour. The final cleaning of the villa is included at the total price (no extra cost).

Be informed that due to the local law, all guest must be registrated in the state system. Villa Marvela is strictly non-smoking in all interiors and on the plot. As we respect that many of your clients comes without their car, the villa is equiped by seasoning, salt, sugar, tea for the first days, Nespreso coffe maker and we provide some bottles of still water, beer and fruity beer radler for the first days for free.

The very best season is between 15th June and 15th September, where especially July and August are the top peak. The tourist life on the Island of Šolta starts in April and ends at the end of October. In 2021 the luxury restaurant Šampjer close to villa Marvela was opened from 2nd April till 30th of October 2021. The seasonal opening of the villa is 1st April till 31 st October, plus for those eventually interested in resting at the end of the world also for the Christmas and New Year´s Eve (swimming pool will be empty, but whirlpool can be filled up and heated, same as the sauna, the aircondition has the option of heating).
